easyJet has announced that it will operate flights from the developing air hub in Newquay, Cornwall. The airline will operate six services per week to Liverpool and London Southend from summer 2013 with tickets going on sale today. easyJet expects to attract over 20,000 passengers on services to and from Cornwall– with fares starting from £27.49.

With plans to close bmibaby airline by September this year, Marketing Derby Bondholder East Midlands Airport has revealed that new operators are to begin flying from the airport soon. EMA, which secured both ‘Best Regional UK Airport’ and ‘UK Airport of the Year’ last year at the British Travel Awards, will be home to new operators, Monarch Airlines and Flybe.
